Now, as the league prepares to tip off its second season, the arrival of the Saints brings fresh enthusiasm and a new fan base to the already vibrant mix of teams.

Founded on strong Christian values and academic excellence, Word of Life International School has cultivated a legacy of integrity, leadership, and holistic growth. The formation of the WOLIS Saints as an alumni football team is a natural extension of the school’s emphasis on character, discipline, and unity.
Representing the WOLIS Saints is Masiko Niwagaba, a proud alumnus and passionate advocate for the school’s growing alumni network. Niwagaba has played a pivotal role in rallying former classmates and athletes to step back onto the grass, not just for the thrill of the game, but for the shared memories and renewed connections.
“It’s an incredible feeling to be part of something that celebrates where we come from while giving us a platform to compete again,” said Niwagaba. “Joining the I.S.A League is more than just football. With opening day set for June 28th, 2025, at Legends Sports Grounds, fans can expect a thrilling launch weekend featuring marquee matchups, guest appearances, and live coverage powered by NRG Radio UG, the league’s official media partner for ISAL2.
As the WOLIS Saints finalize their roster and begin preparations, anticipation is already building online among former students and fans alike. Brimming with potential, the Saints aim to be more than just newcomers — they’re here to make a statement.
